The 445nm laser diode is the most exciting development I have seen in a while. The visibility of 1W of this light even in low daylight or dusk is impressive to say nothing of night. The possiblilies..!
The aw will almost certainly be fine, the others probably too though less likely. The problem seems to have been a bad 'batch' (thousands if not more) of batteries. I forget the exact brand but it was ultrafire or trustfire that the issue was with.
The aw tend to be good but most non defective 10440 should be fine also. Afaik 10440 were largely unprotected until recently. A protected battery is safer of course.
Yeah, so that laser uses a 10440 host. There were a bad batch of 10440 batteries (traveller knows about this). You will need to replace your 10440 with a new and reliable battery. Then you should be fine.
Traveller had exactly the same symptoms with a minichome red laser - turn out all the...
Ah yeah, well pigments like paint work differently to light when mixed. Mix a bunch of paints and you get brown/grey/black etc. Mix a lot of different colored light beams and you get white. Sorry, you can't make a brown laser.
Hmmm, well the module worked perfectly here before and after installation. I tried it a number of times after integration into the final laser and it always performed at 200-205mW which was quite impressive. If its not working for you now then my guess is damage to the module during shipping -...
