Hi, those pics were long exposure (about 7 seconds or so i think) so the beam is not as bright in person, having said that it is still clearly visable at night, and pretty impressive for the money. yes the beam can be focused for short range burning...

I got my 8x in the post this morning!! I had batteries charged and ready to go in as soon as I opened it, and I strait away fitted it with a 405-G-1 lense from jayrob. This thing is awsome...:drool: I really like the Ehgemus host also. Igor, you are the man...:D :thanks:

yeh it is pretty cool, although if your not a fan of the series then I could see that you might not get into it that much, but ive always been a bit of a trekkie, lol, so that was what attracted me to it

I play: Command & Conquer (any of them), Modern warefare 2, Dawn of War, abit of team fortress 2, and more recently Star Trek online. There are a few others but these are my favourites:)

Got my items in the post this morning, and as they were only sent yesturday I consider that to be excellent service...Thanks Morgan :D Got the complete GGW sled and PHR diodes included, and it was very nice not to have to wait a week for delivery :yh: You should definatly include the diode...
