Greetings from SoCal!

I've been interested in lasers for quite a while now, but have only relatively recently gotten into the high powered stuff.

You can see some photos of my very first build here.

Since then, I've built a few more burning reds. (From DVD burners salvaged from the dumpster :wave.

Right now, I'm working on a 445 xja140 labbie to familiarize myself with the high-powered blues before attempting a handheld.

Yeah, but I was mostly just lurking for info before. Now I think I'll participate a little more actively.

And thanks, it's still one of my favorites. Runs super steady at 300mA, and has a pretty long duty cycle even without additional heatsinking.
