I have the O-likes you are referring to...
The 250mW 650nm is more like 150mW, atleast mine is. It burns but you need to fiddle with the focus a bit to get it right.
The 1W 445nm is a nice laser. The specs are @ 700mW with the waterproof lens. It is definitely brighter with the 3.6 volt 123a's as opposed to the standard 3.0 volt versions.
The 400mW 532nm is a bit of a mode hopper until it warms up, I don't have a LPM, but compared with another 532 I own that has been LPM'd, it's firing at about 300mW...burns well.

O-like is a good company, they ship fast, communicate well. I recommend them.

so which one will have a better power output

Hey Vega, I have been looking at that Harbor Freight one myself. To the OP, if you have the skill there is truly no satisfaction like doing it yourself!

Wow. As seen in the other thread, $500 for a mill/lathe combo? Now I'm just disappointed that my tiny studio apartment doesn't have room for a workbench... I'd have so much fun with that. Still need to figure out if I can use the uni machine shop for personal projects; that's the only thing keeping me from a custom 445 build.

If you are referring to just the O-like 650nm's...I only own the 250mW and I highly doubt it's even close to 250mW. Like I said, it's more like a 150mW.
If you are referring to all the O-likes I have listed. For the money...I would go with the 445, but then again there are plenty of members on here that will sell you a custom built 445, with more power, better quality and cheaper too.

Take your time...You have many options.
