As you can see I am very new here, and I'm looking tio buy a cheap laser, that can burn paper, and make holes in tape, etc.

At prices around £5 - £20

Any suggestions please

And no I am NOT! immature, before you ask :P

No, he's right.

20 pounds for a burning laser?

It can't be done. It's not physically possible.

WOW thanks....joke.

I dont like you...

No joke. HAHA

Well, you will have to spend more than that for a paper burning laser.
Also, you seem immature, by the way you type. FYI.

**EDIT** Oh, I'm late, damn.

Fine for a good one how much do you think I should pay?

Anyway I dont knwo anything on the W - power ratio, if someone could show me the way.

also post a few nice one's that are in the U.K

How about you do your own homework. This way you dont look like a moron when you ask stupid questions you could easily answer yourself.

You can start with the first link in my signature.

Any good websistes to buy off?

But anyway I just striped a old CD RW, anythinG I can do with that?

do your own research!!! listen to the other members, they're not going to spoonfeed you

you CAN build a burning red/bluray laser under £20 but it won't be portable. just buy an LPC-815 (red 250-300mW @ 300mA) or PHR-803T (bluray 100mW @ 100mA). power it with a benchtop PSU using DDL driver.
you can also use an old 16x or 22x DVD-RW drive, these can be purchased from ebay very cheap
there are LOTS of guides on how to do this, if you're not immature you know what you should do now. SEARCH button is your friend ;)

Sorry, they are not allowed to sell lasers to people under 13 years of age.

Try here -

Laser Hosts and Laser Kits - Items - OdicForce Lasers Online Shop

That could get you a laser similar to what you're after at a similar price, and it's in the UK, but you will NEED goggles and that will double the price.

More guides and info, (probably the same ones as suggested by others), in my sig below.

Also, an introduction in the, "Welcome", section to tell us a little about yourself and your experience may be a good idea. ;)
