Best lens for a 445 nm build

What is the best lens for a 445 nm laser build? So I know that the lens would be in an aixiz module correct? Then the diode is pressed in the module? I guess if someone could explain everything, that would be helpful. Thanks for your patience.

Aixiz is the name of the company,

They are producing their diode housings, sometimes reffered to as "modules", they are machined pieces of chromed brass which hold the diode and lens together.
Diode is pressfited in it's pocket, and lens is threaded through the other end, towards the diode.

Further more, entire assembly can be put in machined piece of aluminum to act as even bigger heatsink, needed for 445nm and 405nm diodes used in our community.

As far as the rest goes, look at some of the stickys in the Laser Pro Shop - particularily the ones about drivers and hosts.

You should start learning with the cheapest diode you can 660nm (~$5), 405nm ([PHR]~$10) rather than learning on a 445nm diode (~$50).
