It's true that with a camera, if your looking down the beam it will be a LOT brighter than looking to the dot...Just common since there :D Enjoying the pictures, I still want to get a smoker and smoke my room a little, get some mirrors, and enjoy my different lasers :D

Beside the fact that this is almost two months old (doesn't matter, it's a review), nice review! And nice laser. :D Is this not a CNI laser? It looks like one, but a bit smaller with a red button instead of the blue.

It looks to be a Viasho unit, judging by the style of host.

As a result it looks quite a bit like the older black RPLs.

But what I can't tell is whether it's actually a Viasho unit or whether it's a cheap ripoff.

Either way it's a good deal and I want one.

i heard rayfoss buys from Viasho so maybe it's a Viasho unit...

yes this fact is true. if you look in the video when i'm moved near to the laser, the beam gradually become less bright.

do you know the why of this effect?

Yeah, because the beam is being compressed into a smaller area of your viewing plain.
