I asked Faona about the Led light, to make sure I get this unit, this was here response...

"Hello Paul,
Yes,this laser is with LED indicator:).
I will email you soon regard the shipping details and the power rating.
Thank you!:)
Best regards,

Faona"

I feel I'm in good shape, I will post the Power Ratings once I receive them from Faona.

That's good to hear, though I have a bad feeling about the divergence.

^^^ Same here, but what to expect from a $150 200mW Laser? I'll be happy as long as I can zap my street-light off, light some matches and pop some balloons :)

How the heck do you turn the street light off? which angle do I need to point my laser in order to hit the sensor?!

The sensor on my street light is directly on top sticking up vertically, the sensor is very noticable when I look at it from my bed-room window, it's facing west toward the sun-set.

This street light been bothering me for YEARS!!! I actually complained to the town about it but they won't take it down, it's such a big ungly light for my small naborhood!

To shut it off it will look just like this vid (below), if you look close enough you can see the sensor sticking up from the top of the Street light after it's been turned off... BTW this is the identical street light as in the front of my house...

P.S.-You can see the pole of my street light in the back of me in my avatar pic (above my head) :)

Oh yeah. I emailed them and made a request of exactly what I wanted. She also told me that I have to ask for the LED, they dont put it standard becuase some people find it annoying. Very nice.

I turn off streetlights tow ith my 150mw. But they turn on after 30 seconds. And for some reason I can only turn off one =_=!

I hope you don't expect it to go out for the night so you can sleep better. Or is it just because it's ugly??? I heard they only go out for about 15min. You might as well just shoot it out. Bout then instead of having trouble sleeping you'll hae cars crashing thorugh your bedroom window cause they can't see the street.

isn't it easier to just disconnect it? Here in Spain there's a small door you can open to access their cables lol

^^^ Funny thing is (HAHAHAHA!!!) I actually sliced the wires on the light like 5 times already!!! The first 4 times went great, and the town didn't fix it for a good 3 weeks, which gave me some good sleep! :D

The last time was about 3 years ago and it was raining out-side, I was Drunk off my butt, decided to open the tiny door, took some HUGE wire cutters to the monster wires inside the post and got SHOCKED like you would not believe!!! hahaha

My fiance and friends said I flew back a good 5 feet, that was a heck of a shock man, I never want to experience that again! LOL I am going for a light-force this time around :D

The sensor out-side my house I believe is set at 30-45min intervals as far as light is concerned. I will know for sure once I blast it with my Laser! :D

I think the lights that have plastic poles can be kicked out, if you give that "box" or the base of the pole a good enough kick. If not you might as well just shoot the bulb out. Even a pellet gun would do.

^^^ I have took the Box off 5 times already, each time slicing the wires, last time SHOCKED from raining! haha

I used a pellet gun on a light about 15 years ago and it did the job, and if this Laser doesn't work, that will most likely be my next option! :D
