Diode press for sale pushes out the diode

The expression:
"what you see is what you get", and "you get what you pay for"
definately applies to both diode press tools. Well machined, easy to use. Pressed in 3 short cc diodes, they all went in evenly, and pressed them in till they were seated (as far as they could go) into the aixiz module, with no issues. Apposed to using old method, backside of aixiz module to push diode in...put a couple of them in cockeyed, and they weren't always pushed down as far as they could go.
Which leads me to how do I get them out? I can only say that I was very lucky in finding a piece of tubing (part of a antenna), and only ruined a couple of two or three short cc diodes. The tool that removes the diode, is simply amazing. It removed the diode without damage to the can and it did not do any damage to the aixiz housing (bore out the hole larger or leave undesireable makrings on the walls of the housing where the diode is pressed into).

These are the only diode tools I have ever tried, besides my makeshift wanna be junk drawer getaby tools. I'm sure there's others out there that have there versions of this type of tools. For my first set of these type tools, you can't go wrong, I am sure they will suit my needs for a long time.

Sure you bet there is nothing mysterious about it as a matter of fact it works on a very old and very well known principle THE SCREW.
My bad pictures I'm sure is the reason you can't see how it works. so here it is, you screw the body of the device (brass) into the front of your Aixiz module then turn (clockwise) the staniless steel center part inward, that will push your laser diode out the back of the Aixiz module. sorry I need a camera that can take better close ups...

Mine arrived yesterday and I've got to say -- Super easy to use !!!!!
Nice idea, well implemented. If you are going to build lasers then this item is a ' must have '. The best $15 I've spent in this hobby.

Well thank you very much your kind words are truly felt !

I try to proudce only quality items that are in need by members to make there life easer, when I came here I was using antenna sections to remove diodes and said there must be a better way thats why I invented the "diode remover" and after smashing a 6X diodes lead at the case trying to insert it with some make shift method, I said enough and went to the shop and came back with the "steel diode press" haven't looked back since just keep thinking and making more thing to make life easer !
