Review On Sunglad Lasers- 120W IR Lasers

I bought a 120-watt infrared laser from Sunglad Lasers. I'm confused: why is there a red dot when it's turned on? Aren't infrared lasers supposedly invisible to the naked eye? I tested it, and it quickly set cardboard boxes on fire. I pointed it at a cockroach in my house, and it quickly cooked. Very interesting; this shouldn't be considered animal cruelty, right?

That red laser is simply for aiming so you dont blind someone. Do you have safety glasses?

Yes. They sent me one. There is a hornet's nest near my home, and I plan to use this laser to remove it. I probably won't wear goggles at that time because it will make it difficult to see clearly.
