You don't even know how many adults I know that use 'Lol' in forums and texts, Like why do you think that a single word can mean that he lied about his age? Isn't it Immature by itself to use a single word to instantly characterize someone based on stereotypes and wrong beliefs/misconceptions? Also, it's really obvious that he used 'Lol' in a joking matter due to you not seeing his age while reading his original post.

If you want to get all PC about my comment you should know that I'm not interested. Thirdly I don't know who he/she is so I don't know whether or not the "lol" was sarcastic or not. Honestly I don't really care.
I need to know who the person is and their age for me to hand out potentially dangerous information.
I refuse to offer information that would make me liable to a future accident or intentional misuse.

What else calling him a kid means? And no I am not personally affected by that comment I just don't like people having an attitude towards others for no apparent reason. Also considering that He said that he owns a 3w which he got from an LPF member I don't see your point about me sharing information about less dangerous diodes than the NUMB44 he mentioned from DTR.

By the way, 2w of 520 is not available in a diode, You can push the NDG7574 to about 1.2-1,3w safely though, As for the Cyanish blue the closest you can get is around the 470 mark with an overdriven NUMB07/7E diode at 4-5w.

yeah --that is a fact-unless you combine 2pc diodes @ 520nm (NOT NM) also lasers come in wave lengths not 'colors' AND mW is more accurate-than MW-- -we would love to see some pics of your 'collection' and eye protection.

Hi,
I just came across this thread and bashing new members is not the way to go here. There are more subtle ways to go about explaining issues.
There's no need to put a member in a chair with a spotlight on them and interrogate the person. We need new member here not to piss them of and leave.
So in the future please tread lightly to come to a conclusion . Lets stop the drama and help other to excel safely in our great hobby.
