Do you like the multimode version or single mode? I’m tempted to go with Silver for run time and multimode driver so can have safety lock and half power. Hhhmmm.

I like the multimode,, it makes the more powerful lasers like two in one.. They can be a bit tricky to use at first, but once you learn the system their ok, even a little safer because they take a bit of getting used to..

I just remembered, you can unscrew the extension tube on the Silver and put in 2 x 18350s and it’s basically a smooth Challenger II!

They’re still doing grids and grooves but not the grid style.

I like the grid style ...

I’ve not seen a single review on the Laser Rangers product by Sanwu. Someone somewhere must have made the purchase? But nothing, I’ve searched the net and couldn’t find anything at all.

The only reviews are on the Sanwu website on the Laser Rangers product page. I looked yesterday and there were three very good write ups. Just surprised that nobody has posted a YouTube review.

I haven't ordered my 470nm 5watt Silver yet, just paying out lots of bills, building works, oil etc...I might have to hang fire for another few weeks until I get paid for the work I'm doing, but sure enough, I'll burn another hole in my pocket! I'll let you know when I receive it in the post. It'll be later in the month or late September, darker nights - Yes!

The ordered goods arrived safely yesterday. I was amazed by the laser light that was much more compact and horrible than I had imagined. It is also wonderful that the high power specification of 445nm 5W can be started with only one 18350 battery.

I received my laser and I am fairly satisfied with it. The power output ring is a little bit sensitive, especially between the lowest and medium outputs. However, I did not receive the extension tube that would allow me to use the laser with an 18650 rechargeable battery. On your website it says that the battery extension tube is included, but unfortunately it was not part of the package I received.
