Jetlasers PL-E Mini 405nm?

Does anyone have any experience with this model? I've never dealt with a 405 before and i'm planning on getting one soon, and I noticed that the PL-E Mini in 405 has recently gained a 1W option instead of topping out at 500mW. Does anyone have a ballpark idea on the kind of battery life and heat output a 1W 405nm in that size host would have? I also heard a while back that it's not hard to led a 405 diode so i'm a little worried about the lifespan of one pushing 1W. Should I be?

Judging by the stated divergence I would say its a multimode diode. If it's the same type as the one i got put in mine a while back, 1W is not really pushing it hard, as they can be pushed to 1.8W(ish).

Dang...$350 for that. If it were me I'd get one elsewhere or make one/ have one made. Unless you just really like pl-e minis.

Battery life will obviously depend on what batteries you get. Assuming the best, 2X 18350/16340s will give you quite a bit of runtime but not nearly as much as a larger host with 2X 18650s. Heat is comparable to other 1W lasers. My 405 runs on 2X 18350s and I find the runtime adequate if not long. Although I have extra cells I can swap out if needed. Mine has a 1 inch diameter copper heatsink and I suspect that the one in the pl-e mini is smaller than that, but hopefully copper. I'm not 100% sure. I only have a 1W 520nm PL-E pro that's a few years old now. Hopefully they fixed the amount of play in the focus knob. It's what I dislike the most about my pl-e but like i said it's a few years old so maybe they've addressed that problem

CHECK THE prices at GB JL #11 at the GB section... I add free 18650s to every order.

I always suggest short duty and long rest... overheating is not covered by the JL Warranty.
SORRY is looks now like the 2020 Holiday Coupon is not valid for the Group Buy
IF this changes will let all know ASAP.

The ship discount is only for USA buyers,

From what I've seen, unfortunately not :(
