HI all,

My PL-E Mini 465nm laser just arrived. I turned it on using the back button power switch and the laser comes on very low power and the LEDs do not light up. I am assuming its on safety mode. How do I turn it off? It didnt come with instructions..

Thanks for the help,

Yes i saw that... the issue is that my laser is not responding that way. I turn it on and the LED's do not light up, and it just turns the laser on very low power output. I am using the Elfest batteries that Jetlasers sent to me. Maybe I need different batteries?

I appreciate your feedback.. I am talking with Gray at Jetlasers and its likely the batteries are simply not charging with my nitecore, even though it says they are. I am using the charger Jetlasers sent and will update after they have been on for some hours. Thanks..

Hi puff, hopefully fully charged batteries will solve the problem, if not, as Alaskan and Encap mentioned, J/L will make it right for you. :)
You may want to PM member Hakzaw1, he may be able to help out as he is J/L's rep. here on LPF.

I own many Jetlasers lasers, and in my opinion, when possible, I always choose the "mechanical" switch rather than the "code" switch; it is a straightforward on/off or momentary on condition.

After a day on the supplied charger while I was at work, unfortunately there is no difference. The laser still just gives a very weak output with no LED's or side button functionality. I think I may have a lemon :cautious: but I will work with Gray and Hakzaw1 further to see if there is more I can do. Thanks for the help Bowtie.

Ask Gray to send you a replacement ASAP and ask for instructions and address where to return ship the one you have.
Typically Gray will refund you the cost to ship it back to JetLasers and ship the replacement at no charge.

Exchanging emails with him right now to see next steps... yes he is very responsive. Hoping for either a simple fix or a replacement, will update when I know.

Update 9/26/19 -- Gray is shipping me a new laser free of charge and offered to cover the cost of the batteries I bought for the unit. Great customer service as everyone says! Responsive and stands behind their product. Glad I went with a reputable shop. Confident that the new unit will be worry free.

There you go. I pays to buy from a high quality manufacturer like JetLasers instead of one of 1000 resellers of junk lasers who couldn't care less as soon as the have your money.

Repeating a comment from a year ago:
"You can't go wrong with a JetLasers product.
Everyone who owns a JetLasers product loves it.

Are the JetLasers products more expensive than other hand held lasers?
Yes , but not by a lot.
Are they worth every penny spent to obtain one?
Yes and then some considering the exceptional product at a reasonable price + the best customer service/support in the business and not just before you buy. You get the same attention after you buy.
Any problems are always addressed quickly and made right.

Gray and Jetlasers only want happy customers who feel they received something of value that they enjoy for their hard earned money spent with JetLasers. They will do whatever it takes to accomplish that. They have been known even to allow product to be returned for full refund several months after the sale if the customer is simply not happy with the product purchased for whatever reasons.

The JetLasers staff are not in it just/only for for the money.
The founders are all engineers and laser enthusiasts themselves and they do the best job they can do at reasonably affordable prices.

JetLasers really is one of the "best in the business" of hand held lasers---not just money grab driven type who would be selling ping pong balls if they were not selling lasers/anything for money types.
JetLasers really love making and selling products that are a cut above in quality and function and they offer them at reasonable prices as well.
Does not get better than that."
