Hi guys,

My name is Kevin, 33 years old from Dublin, Ireland. I have been into lasers since I was a kid and got my first red keychain laser, then was amazed when I got a "5mW" green laser from ebay which has now been lost somewhere in my collection of cheap greens! I also own a 1W Spartan 445nm which I bought a few years back. My interest has been peaked once again with all these new wavelengths coming on the market and since I have been finding it difficult to find answers I have been looking for, I have joined this forum for some help and discussion.

My main interests would be camping and outdoors, bit of a gear junkie when it comes to flashlights, knives, camping equipment and of course lasers, love me some nifty gadgets and gizmos!

Anyway, looking forward to getting involved in the discussion and hopefully start adding more lasers to my collection.

Thanks,
Kevin

Welcome aboard!!
With camping and outdoors you might want to get an 532nm of at least 75mW as other colors can get "lost" in the different lighting conditions found in those activities. Please always keep safety in mind as we all get just one set of peepers. Have fun poking around in all the corners around here as the guys here are an incredible source of knowledge.
Enjoy!!

I just noticed how different this forum looks from a desktop computer. I have only been using my phone up until now which doesnt show half of the actual content, also why I couldnt edit my account details. Sure at least now I know! I will visit the buy/sell/trade section soon. And yes I have already read the rules :)

Thanks again :)
