Hi all
I have a budget of $70 max for a 100mw green laser that has constant on and runs on either 16340 or preferably an 18650. i was looking at these 2 stores based on what i have read here on the forum. it seemed like after looking at a few of the stickies that o like might be the better company. what are peoples thoughts on these 2? does one have better quality product or service over the other? laserpointerstore had the cheaper option for a 100mw green laser at $35 and their web page said they have a warehouse in the US, but then the shipping still says 10 - 15 days. olike seemed like possibly higher quality for about $50 or $60 but the return process if the laser had any problems looked to be lengthy. so just looking for some feedback and thoughts from the experts here. thank you.:yh:

I have also heard good things about O-Like, not sure about the other one..... Be careful and double check their offerings against what might be far cheaper somewhere else, or just have one of the host builders here help you and build something yourself from parts you can find online.

What he said above^^^

O-like is pretty good.
Returns--- with LPS anything returned has to be returned to China

301's, 303's have the potential to last a long time and can run 2 or 3 minutes or more straight.
They vary from 40mw to 90mw.
So,,,,, as far as the momentary switch issue you can always clamp the button down with a plastic tie and use the key lock in the back for off and on.
Finding a US warehouse ebay sight and getting 4 or 5 of them at $5 a pop is something to think of.. My 2 301's are still running 3 years after 3 years.
They don't like cold weather though as they are a 532 Dpss.

There is a online sight "TMart" that has some in their US warehouse and ship quickly..

Alternatively, you can get a metered output 100mW 532nm green Laser 304 for $18 from Sanwu who is a laser maker who meters and resells laser 304s to have a "starter" low end choice. You could save up a little more money and get a Sanwu pocket series 150mW 525nm green for $100.
See: https://www.sanwulasers.org/product/304

Unfortunately good quality laser pointers are expensive and highest quality even more .
For prices on top quality professional quality lasers and best customer service possible see: https://www.jetlasers.org/

these are what i was looking at in the 2 stores
From olike

New waterproof Blue laser 1W torch /focusable [OL-BLUW] - $54.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

New Rocking High Power Green laser 100mW torch/focusable [OL-ROG100] - $45.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

New Special Cute Burning 100mW green laser torch/focusable/ [OL-GT-100] - $49.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

New Waterproof green laser 100mW/focusable [OL-GW-100] - $56.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

from laserpointerstore
https://laserpointerstore.com/laser-pointers/by-colors/green-lasers/model-890-laser-pointer

and i appreciate all of the responses.

the one from laserpointerstore is $35 and looks decent. I am not looking for the best because i have seen the prices on these and most are way out of my price range. the only one that is close is the pocket laser pointer from sanwu but like some one said it is $100. the other pointer from sanwu (the cheaper ones) $18 are a possibility. but if any of the other ones i gave links for are decent then i would be happier with something like one of the above. I am just making sure i don't waste time or money on stores or products. thank you all. and am looking forward to more input.:yh:

to be honest, they are all good decisions :) i was actually thinking of getting that same one from LPS. i have never bought from Olike but i know theyre good. I will certainly Vouch for LPS. even if it arrives Broke just email LPS, Tommy or Emily will respond back quick and send you a new one :)
either way let us know what you decide to do

Yeah, like Richie said they are nice choices for the money but
the only thing is i'm not to sure how good the beam spec's will be with the 450nm 1W? but it should be about as bright as a 90mw 532.
It will work better in cold weather though.

Yeah you’re definitely right on those beam specs lol
Last cheapy 1 Watt 445-450 I got had some pretty bad divergence :p I’ll be honest, I’m actually still shocked that the 1.6W striker saber “Replica” I got from LPS has some pretty good Mrads. It’s actually as good as my PLTB450B with a 3E lens :D

All your green laser choice are basically all the same laser. They have the same module inside that comes with a 303 532nm DPSS laser for $8.00 on eBay. Not all of these have a momentary switch on the side. Some have a tail switch just like your $50.00 ones for $9.00 to $10.00. Normally, I would give you a link to one, but don't have one handy at the moment. There is little to no difference between a 100 mW green and an 80 mW green. They will appear the same and if focusable will burn the same.

Like was said previously... check around for
best prices.. Between the two you mentioned
I would buy from O-Like. Not sure if Suzie is
still working there.

I don't know why I put 0.2W I guess it just looked cooler than 200mw

The one thing I remember about ordering from O-Like is how very long it takes to get your items. They must be using the proverbial slow boat from China.
