Hi all,

Been searching for over a week for these. Fasttech has fake ones that are only 3.5A continuous. The only US seller on ebay doesn't have the button tops. All the vape shops are out of stock. No sure if they are disconnected or the demand is this ridiculous.

If someone has them, do you know a brand that has the exact same height and diameter of those?

Edit More info:
I would use other brands but the thing is I need to them to be exactly the same diameter and height. The laser I am using them for doesn't have a spring in the bottom, so if the batteries are shorter they won't make contact, if they are longer the would press on each other's negative side that it bends and will stop making contact.

Here's an example, I tried some Effest and they bended, see here: https://imgur.com/a/3rA6E
Now they don't make contact. I could cut some of the wrapping, but I am not even sure they are safe to use anymore now that the they bended inward.
I bought some other brands and it had the same problem.

EDIT2: Damn this upsetting:
The AW is pretty much the shortest battery out there according this battery guy :/. I guess I will just give me batteries a hair cut at the bottom and have them bend all they want lol

Seems that AW's are out of stock in EU area too.. You could try KeepPower as alternative brand. Cells are really high quality.. :)

Most AW's out there are fakes due to the popularity of and name recognition they have it is like what happened with the 405-G-2 lens. Just a snowball that could not be stopped once they started. They really started hitting AW maybe 3 or 4 years ago and it went from small to the fakes being the majority of the market offerings. Anyway RTD Vapor is the only authorized dealer I know of and where I have always bought them in the past after lighthound went under.
but I have not checked the list on AW's thread over on Candle Power Forums in a while so there might be others.
They have a notice why there none of the usual places have any. See here. https://www.rtdvapor.com/aw/

Have you looked at Liion Wholesalers? They have REAL manufacturer supplied new batteries at the best price I have ever seen. Here's the link: www.liionwholesale.com.

The problem with AW batteries is ALL of them are rewraps. They don't manufacture batteries at all.

I did. They don't have AW's but they have two types of Effest button tops 18350. I tried the purple one and they bended inward and stopped making contact from the negative side. If someone has an AW other batteries and can compare their length and diameter to see if we can find one that is the same dimensions.

My button top Efest's did the same neg end recess thing with to much spring pressure.
You might have to go with flat tops with a magnet thats a bit wider than the button. As these neo magnets can be ordered thin, you can stack some in order to maby fit your build.

I have some 18350 red button top Efest's, some 18350 AW's button top's and some 18350 purple Efest's flat tops. Would it help any if I were to measure these?

It would be awesome if you could compare their height/diameter. Thanks!

Ok, just to know "none" of these are protected.

AW button top. Width: 18.2mm to 18.4mm higher up to the pos cap
Length from top of button: 35.2mm for one and 35.4mm on the other.

Efest red button top Width: 18.4mm for two measured
Length from top of button: 35.2mm to 35.2mm on the two.

Efest purple flat top Width: 18.25mm to 18.40mm on the two
length: 34.70 to 34.75 on the two

Just to know I printed the higher side on the width on the Efest red as the labels add a tiny bit.

Hey hoo7h, I just re-read your post #1 and noticed that you say that you have no spring at the bottom; I'm assuming that you have no spring at the top either?
This would severly limit your battery selection; I wonder why the laser design wouldn't include springs?
