Good catch dden, I didn't see that in the pics either, unless it has been edited.
AW hasn't used that black AW label for a couple of years, now they use the hologram label.

Here are a couple sites regarding legitimate AW batteries, and where to find them. The sites don't look like they've been updated for quite a while, but the info. should be helpful.

AW Batteries - Authorised Dealers
AW Batteries - Authorized Dealers - USA

Interesting read about the fake AW batteries, thanks for the link. :)

Hello Everyone and thank you so much for your kind words and many thanks to you for all your feedback! I apologize I haven't responded timely to you alll, my work had me in 9 states over the last two and a half weeks doing project audits, but I am very happy to say that I'm back! I'm going to try to give each of your posts the responses they deserve.

Radim,
Thank you friend, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Haha, they only thing I can do faster than typing is spend money but typing is much more "healthy" lol. I'm glad you could find some information out of it in regards to your recent decision. I''ve been wondering what the attraction to Optotronics with the prices they command but that makes sense, I need to learn more about beam specs and what's desireable for different types and wavelengths and pay more attention to that spec among different lasers. I do like they design of their hosts too! Have you received that Beaute yet?!

3DLaSeRBuiLDeR,
Yes, they toilet is great for one....you don't have to worry about someone walking in and being exposed to the beams w/o safety goggles on. (Though when they see the lights from they outside, they may wonder what kind of sick disco-party you're having in there) and for two, yes the steam from a running the shower for a few minutes really brings out the beams as BowtieGuy pointed out, and is a handy alternative if a fog machine isn't available but it could be the methane too:thinking:

BowtieGuy,
Thank you Sir, very kind and encouraging of you! I appreciate your input and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I see you can fully appreciate a JL laser, that's a mighty fine collection you have there!! How do you like your TIB's?! That's one laser that's at the top of my must-obtain list, though I think that's going to be a practice of determination and patience.

BobMC,
Thank you kindly! I appreciate that as my drawing skills are nothing to be envious of...my stick figures more closely resemble an amoeba! I love the quote in your sig! Is that a Bob quote??

Steve001,
Ah chartreuse eh, thank you for sharing that with me I wasn't aware of that color but it's nice to put a name to it because it's captivating! Okay that's good to know, can it be fixed if they become misaligned or do you have to replace the entire laser module? Yeah, that would be a sad day for sure! Thank you!

Ricker,
Thank you friend, I appreciate that lol I'm glad you liked it! Reviews can be hard when they just drum on and there's something about the stunning ribbed-for-plaser Pl-E Pro that commands an enticing review! I sure wil, I'm awaiting my Pl-E Mini 473nm from JL but there's an issue Gray and his team are working to resolve. I don't know what exactly is the problem but I do appreciate they're dedication to not sending their customers a product that's anything less than their best. Gray did offer to send me a Pro 473nm to fulfill my order but I elected to wait for the issues to be resolved as I really like the Mini host especially for a lower powered laser that may not need all the heat sinking of the Pro. So the wait to receive my laser is entirely on me as it was my decision to holdout for the Mini and not take the free Pro upgrade. I DO NOT want my decision to wait reflect poorly on Gray/Jetlasers. Stay tuned!

Vetttech,
Thank you very much! You're most welcome. What is the laser in Your sig?

Ritchie89,
Thank you Sir, if you're considering it you won't regret going for it. Though looking at your sig it seems you have a nice handful of LPF member-made units? I think it's hard to beat that with some of the lasers guys build in here, they're incredible!

I agree with you, but I believe a large part of that is up to us as their customers. JL is very smart/particular with how they handle the shipment of their products, but I believe it's our responsibility as customers (to JL or any other company for that matter) to be equally as smart and not draw unnecessary attention to what we're having these companies ship us and how they're doing so. I'm new to this hobby, but I can almost guarantee WL didn't want to lose an entire market (No company who wants to succeed would wish to lose any market share they may have) but to my understanding they didn't have much of a choice after being black-listed by customs. And I wouldn't be surprised if customs had someone searching the internet for companies getting regulated items into the US. Basically I mean that I think part of it is up to us as customers and the laser community to ensure the successful import of these items by not publically disclosing the packaging details used by the companies we wish to continue purchasing from. Just my 2cents.
(Sorry for the rant)

Paul,
Wow, you're right I didn't realize that mRad could be <0.05!! I thought 1 mRad would be spectacular...just shows how much more I have to learn. Yes please send me some links, I would appreciate that! I was looking at some lab units a few weeks ago but didn't make a move because I didn't know what to look for/what I should be buying for a first lab laser...Diode, DPSS, or a HeNe (though I'm sure diode/DPSS are more simple and therefore more suitable to a newbie.). Also, whether I need a power supply, or controller of sorts. I'm sure this information is here on LPF I just haven't looked it up yet. Thank you for your feedback, You're welcome. Thank you for reading it.

Dden,
Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I got it from a local Vapeshop which is scary considering the performance the Ecig Mods demand out of their batteries and the amount of stress that puts on them. I had no idea, but I have ordered an AWT 26650 5200mAh from IMR Batteriess they've. Always been reliable to me. I'll post pictures of the new one when I get it next to this one. Thanks again and you're welcome, that may have been my favorite part!

Badboybilly,
Thank you kindly! I was impressed too, I used my iphone 7plus because I didn't want to expose my DSLR to the steam which really surprised me as they were simply snapshots as shutterspeed and aperture couldn't be manipulated. Thanks for enjoying!

Diachi,
Thank you for reading and your feedback, I appreciate it! I was worried it may be too detailed as I have a habit of getting caught up in the details!

Thank you all for taking the time to read my review and provide feedback!

Your welcome. If the crystals become misaligned and you do not have the tools or knowledge how to fix them then you'll have to send it back for repair, find someone else to repair or buy a new one. By the way, use the quote or in this case the multi-quote button. You won't have copy and paste if you do that. Another by the way, the front bezel unscrews with effort, I was told by customer service and it may be possible to swap out the original lens for a slightly longer focal length lens to decrease the beam divergence. You have to look into the laser to see how much room there is. You'll also have to ask customer service what the focal of of the original lens is.

I love the quote in your sig! Is that a Bob quote??

Yes, and no, it was given to me, as was the definition of what righteousness is. "that which is free from all disorder"

Ps, your pictures were taken with an IPhone 7plus? I'm impressed! :)

Hi Av8tor, what kind of lab lasers are you interested in? I like the 532nm myself, but there are many, many more. Let me know what you want and I will try to provide links to the best deals I can find. Also what power you are looking for. I got what I consider a great deal on a temperature controlled 532 DPSS lab laser years ago for ~$50.00. It does better than 200 mW with an unlimited duty cycle. Might be able to find the same laser now for less.
