I found a pretty good diode, at a luckily affordable price. Not green but a cool enough color, and budget, now all I need to know is if this 405nm 5mW Mini Laser Module 8x13mm, AixiZ has a driver or not...

Yes it does it is a complete module, just apply power and it will work. Keep in mind it may be disappointing if you haven't had a 405nm yet, 405nm is at the limit of the visible spectrum and isn't very visible, 5mW of 405nm will put a spot of violet fuzz on the wall that you may have to look for to see it if the light is too bright. I am not exaggerating, 405nm has to be powerful enough to be dangerous before it looks the least bit impressive.
