Check out this awesome laser built for me by Alien Laser.. Its a 470nm 1800mw with a "lightsaber" host. Here it is burning though a wooden paint stick like it's nothing.

What diode is that? Don't know of any diode that is going to give 470nm at 1.8W

It's around 1800mw and around 470nm. Those aren't exact specs.

Jeez, that part of the visible spectrum is so beautiful(470nm-488nm). Right after yellow, light blue lasers are most likely my favorite! 1800mW of 470nm must provide such a ***y beam! :yh:

It is a beautiful color, I like it as well... When I use it side by side with my 445nm it makes my 445nm look like a 405nm.

I bet! I had all three a few months ago: 405nm/445nm/473nm. When shinning the 473 next to 445 you really see it's purple glow around the dot

I have a couple running at ~2.4A that give those specs
