Can't rep you yet. I'd love to throw some reps up at this comment. I have been monitoring Sci-Fi ever since I have been here. I have made multiple suggestions on these threads. He could take a picture of your item going into the box with the tracking number at the post office. He has refused, even claiming he is doing this... however no one I know has a picture. He says these are all his "old orders". Shouldn't you work from oldest to newest? We really do need to get him out of here or require him to only do Cash on Delivery. While we are required to have a banner, can't we just a a text under the banner that says do not pay before you play, only request C.O.D.? We might be legally required to post his banner. It doesn't mean we don't have full control of the rest of the page does it?

I don't get the crap he says about old orders and new orders like "we're doing much better with new orders"
Alright so if I get my money back and tomorrow I order the exact same laser am I going to get it quicker than when I ordered 5 months ago or what? He's lost it haha..

Thanks for the DTR link! Glad to have a place that sells all the parts I need to do my own. Time to break out the soldering iron for the first time in a while.

Sort of got my sci-fi laser today, it's not exactly what I ordered but as long as it functions I'll just deal with it, since swapping it will probably take another year.

Not trying to encourage you to juice Joker as an act of 'revenge', but just because something arrived in your mailbox doesn't mean you have to put up with it being in worse condition than it was supposed to have come in.

That's absolutely right... If that was the case he could just send you a laser pointer from the dollar store and call it good... This is still very illegal.. Be no different then if you bought a ounce of gold online and they sent you a ounce of coal... That's not what you paid for.

I don't know how useful it is but maybe if anyone is filing a claim or something against Sci-Fi here is some very useful proof of thejoker301 (AKA Eitan) scamming.

mm. Maybe? I'm afraid this evidence might make things worse for us if we were to give it to Paypal. They may not be happy to know someone was selling lasers with their system, and that might make things harder for us.

When I escalated a claim, PayPal didn't ask about the item, I didn't offer additional details beyond what was written in the original invoice or my description if I paid without an invoice. I got all my money back.

Maybe a don't ask don't tell kind of thing?

Oh, that's too bad. I already bought my batteries (2 16340s), and I don't feel like returning them. Going to buy a Sanwu challenger, prolly.

Maybe next time I'll go for the Aspire. That carbon grip is definitely classy.

I think I'm gonna go with Sanwu as well - The Spiker looks crazy!

From what I understand it was 90 days, but now it is extended to 180 days, also with many people filing a dispute against SciFi it should be easier.

The same exact thing happened to me a while back, I never got a tracking number, I just randomly received it in the mail.
