Hey guys!

I just bought the 120nm pen series laser from jetlasers and need some advice for batteries. This is my first laser purchase so I'm just wondering exactly which batteries to use for it. The power consumption is less than 500mA and the power supply is 1x 10440 lithium battery. Could somebody suggest exactly what type I should buy or even paste a link for me? Thanks a bunch in advance

There's no such thing as a 120nm pen type laser, I am guessing you meant to say their 120mW 532nm green. It is low power enough that any brand of batteries will work, but I always advise against buying those cheapest blue ones with no brand name, after that the Ultrafire are considered the lowest quality, anything else will be ok. You didn't give your location or even what country you're in, this is a very international forum.

I buy my batteries here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_s...-keywords=10440+battery&sprefix=10440,aps,428
Or here: Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More!
Don't forget to buy a charger too and be sure to charge the batteries before using them.

Alan,

I've noticed some batteries have different power consumptions. Does that mean I should get 500mA batteries? Or anything less than 500 mA?

Oh the mAh listed on the battery is just an indication of how long the battery will last before it needs recharging, also with some of the cheapest batteries you can't always trust that number, anyway it doesn't matter in this case, but the higher the mAh the longer between recharging.

Hi dropkick, here is another source for the "efest" 10440 batteries. Pi already gave you a couple of other good sources.
There isn't much of a selection available in the 10440 size batteries like there is in the larger sizes.
Just try and stay away from the *****fire brands, and you should OK. :D

Edit: Here is a discount code that used to work for 5% off, it is "LASER5" , without the quotation marks. Hopefully still works.

Edit #2: I just tried the discount code and it works, it's not much, but every little bit helps.

You should add at least United States to your profile so it shows under your name, more people will answer your posts, especially if you ask where to buy something.

Hi,
Yes Bowtie is correct not many choices in the 10440 cells,i been using Efest 10440's in my pens and they hold up very well despite the size and milliamp's.
