Hi Skyzfoxx,

Welcome to the forum
A laser with a visible beam in the daylight will be a strong laser. It will probably cost more than your $100 budget that you mentioned in your other thread.

As you did say "In your House", the DOT being visible is not a problem, all inexpensive lasers should make a visible dot assuming the wavelength itself is in that spectrum.

The BEAM being visible is the issue, as the beam needs to hit dust, moisture, etc, and light THAT up to be visible.

That's where the power comes into play.

How badly do you want to see an indoor BEAM? (Is using smoke, baby powder, steam, etc, OK to see the beam?)

:D

Baby powder?!:wtf: don't mind Teej, I think he is getting Alzheimer's in his old age. I have several lasers that have a visible beam inside in a well lit room, they are all a fire hazard, I am not exaggerating. Only my 82mW 520nm green is safe, and the beam is very visible if the light isn't too bright. You should plan on a price of more like $140-$300 if you want a really visible beam in a well lit room.

Welcome to LPF.

Welcome! As others have said, there is a big difference between seeing the dot in a well lit room, and seeing the beam in a well lit room. I can see the beam on my 300+mW 532nm laser pretty well in a lit room, and can just barely see it with a 2X beam expander on in the same conditions.

To start off, try those cheap laser 303. Don't order it online as the chances of you getting past custom is slim. Get from Carousell, there's lots of people selling it although the price is at least twice the price you get online

I wouldn't get myself a cheap laser 303 if I had a 150$ budget. The 303/301's put out a fair amount of IR to which most goggles don't offer protection.

Take a look at these lasers:

The Ti-B may be a bit out of your budget, but it's definitely worth getting.
