(intentional double post)

My experience so far with Will/laser66:
-waited 8 months for a response after he said he had pens in stock.
-finally got a response, took another several weeks for him to give me his stock and prices. The emails were constantly "look at previous emails," of which none contained stock or prices
-FINALLY get him to give me a stock and price list.
-tell him my order
-he repeats my order
-i give it again
-he gives me his paypal
-I send the >100$ to him

And here I set, lacking any sort of payment confirmation, tracking number, or any response from him whatsoever. I new this would happen and didn't send it as a gift, but still- his communication has been irritatingly nonexistent. for someone that has done business as long as him, this SHOULD NOT BE SO DIFFICULT. If I had somewhere else to buy the pens I would have done it by now, but as far as I know he is the only one who has them. I found a place in Thailand that has them, but they want to charge 70$ for shipping.

I just want me darn pens!

My experience so far with Will/laser66...

I feel ya.

I emailed will@laser66 about 5 days ago (as well as PM'd) in regards to the paypal errors and have gotten no response.

There was zero communication to begin with, with the single exception to come onto the forums and promote his business. My dealings with him have been extremely frustrating and I have thus given up my quest to own one of these pens. I cannot for the life of me see how this should be a problem, perhaps his internet is slower than my grandmas Prius, or perhaps he lives in Greenland. Whatever the case, I have lost all faith in this guy. As sad as it may seem I have come to accept the fact that as long as I shall live, my life will be devoid of these chrome leadlights.

I hope I am wrong.

He FINALLLLLLLY shipped them out. I plan on making a few 445's w/indicator LED's and maybe a 635/520 to sell. If I get more pens eventually (as im sure it will take quite a long time to get more ordered), I would be happy to throw a few in for you.

That's awesome! Hopefully you get them eventually :)

This does give me a sliver of hope, so I will email him again today and let you know how that goes :p

Good to hear @crazyspaz

How powerful do you plan on your 445's being? I'm not sure if I will make any 445's with mine as I have two sinner's Cypreus pens. I'm thinking a 405 and a 532, but idk.

I ordered four silver ones from his site on a Sunday (April 29th) without any prior contact. He emailed me on Monday or Tuesday saying he was out of the ones with only one hole, so I said two holes is fine, and they were shipped on May 4th according to usps tracking (although it just left California a few hours ago). It's projected to arrive on Friday. This was just my experience for those interested in buying. It wasn't fast, but under two weeks from payment to delivery isn't bad.

I have to admit, the email responses had been bad (8 month part). I had sent out prior emails with prices and links to gold hosts thread here. As far as prices, it was JayRob's price. Recently, yes I said go back and look at the old emails. I dd not want to start all over again. (several weeks part) To tell you the truth, it was only for a few here that I even ventured into buying a supply of these anyway. Then when we ran out of Chrome 1 holes, Jay stopeed buying. I have not sold one since that time- just collecting dust. If someone wants to buy a few hundred of these let me know. As Jstr points out, the web page order with Paypal was fast. As far as PM's- no I'm not in here enough to get a response from me. I found that out early on when I was flamed for not answering someone in 2 hours! So go to web page and buy them there and turn around sould be a day or so, not working most weekends.

Guess I will use the website now instead of emailing, as that is apparently not convenient in the least for you. Too bad the pen page wasn't up 8 months ago...

Got my pens today...every single one looks like it has been on a dusty shelf for years. The golds are all slightly mottled (not at ALL new looking), and one has a crapton of scratches on it by the clip. The chromes aren't a whole lot different, only they are more smudged/scuffed than scratched.

This has not been an easy, nor an enjoyable transaction. I was going to make these into pens to sell (few 445's, maybe a 638 and a 405), but I dont think anyone wants a janky looking pen. Ill post pics later.

I'd like to mention that when I was selling these pens, they were all brand new and in perfect condition.

Just don't want all these problems you guys are having to reflect bad on me as a seller.

It would be nice if you guys could start a different thread to hash out the issues with the pens.

Since I am no longer involved, it should probably be in a different thread...

Thanks!

We all know this isn't related to you, I am merely viewing this thread as a thread about the pens, not about you. I bought pens from you, they were immaculate...hence my disappointment with will.
