Hey guys,
I was wondering if you could give me some advice and opinions on laserbtb. I am really nervous on where to buy from because i have read some very mixed opinions on various websites.

If you would like to answer please try include the following:

-The shipping quality
-The quality of their lasers (Main Concern)
-Customer Service
-Your own opinion.
-Is it worth it ?

EDIT: Any places to buy good 16340 batteries ?

(if you are curious i am looking at a 1W blue laser. If that helps)

I also plan on getting Eagle Pair goggles. Any suggestions on what pair or type i should get.

Any info will help.

Thanks.

- Unknown I never received my order
- by most accounts they are good but I have never seen one myself
- Completely non existent
- Would not even recommend them to someone I hate to purchase from them
- If your order arrives ok and you never need to deal with there customer service then I guess it might be worth it, if you have any issues and do need to deal with their customer service probably not worth it.

I never had an issue with them.. though I only purchased from them via group buy.

1) arrived like any other laser box from china, some dings and dents on the box but packages well.
2) On spec and not defective in any way
3) can't speak for that as I was a group buy participant
4) I liked them, Cheapest functional quality site apart from sci-fi lasers
5) That's up to you.

Bought 3 lasers from them so far, was never a problem i would say most that buy from them dont have any issues. I like their hosts and the safety features are goodenough, been using my first (405) alot since i got 6months ago and it still works wonderful so i would say the quality for the price is alright. They might be a little slow on communication but so what? as long as i get what i pay for im happy and unless the lasers break down or something thats not really something i worry much about..

Thanks for all the replies guys :yh:

I can see that they might not be 100% in terms of everything but its all i can see that seems legit and within a low enough price range. I was looking on other sites and their 200mw lasers start at like 299$ !!!.

Yes that does seem like you get what you pay for but im in no position to hand over a few hundred euros for a laser that isnt really powerful.

All in all thanks for the feedback again :yh:

They are most certainly legit. The only thing to watch is the pointer (LP) hosts are a bit lacking in the same quality as the HL and PL. I own a HL (green) a PL (blue) and a LP (red), I did have two LP but one broke, the HL and PL are just 10x better in terms of quality, sturdiness and operation.

I have a couple of their lasers and found the product to be at least spec, build quality average+, and customer service to be acceptable. I can't really say anything bad about the experiences I've had with them in the past.

EaglePair are nice glasses for the money. If you are getting a blue laser, you'll want the 190-540nm range rather than the 190-470nm pair.

If you don't mind me asking, have you considered purchasing a laser made by a forum member? We have several accomplished builders around here that will easily provide a higher quality hand-crafted laser to your specifications. Please take some time to investigate that before you decide. I think you'll be glad you did.

cheers,

Thanks for the suggestion on buying from a forum member. Its sounds like a great idea. I have heard great things about Blord. Maby ill look towards EU based sellers but if you have any other sellers that are really good. Just leave a PM or somthing. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. I will definately consider buying from a member on the forums. Sounds like a good idea.

I have never heard anything bad about sellers on the forum. Especially the ones you mentioned in your reply. They all sound great :)

I ordered a laser from them, it broke within a day, and when I asked for a replacement I got a bunch of emails with confusing and poor grammar and I was given return instructions that were also extremely confusing and hard to understand. When I shipped the laser to the address listed on their website, I was told that it wasn't the proper address, and that I was "careless" and I have yet to see a refund for the 200$ laser, even though I sent them a video showing that the laser wasn't functional.

So the lasers may be fine, but hope nothing happens to them, because you wont be having much luck getting a refund/replacement.

RE: Honest opinion on Laserbtb

I did purchase a laser from them, while it works OK, the feeling I got is that the company is not top notch. Information on the laser is lacking, they do answer the emails with my questions, but the answers are short and very minimal. It looks like they are over worked and don't have the time to do things properly.

what information is lacking? everything techincal they list on the lasers page ? and yeah its a small company but to me i prefer to pay less and i find the lasers for the prices are of good quality, their communication is not their strongest part i can agree with that. I dont think there is a perfect laser company that can have good prices and customer support or lasers that will never break down its up to everyone decide what they want.
