Hey all,

I have the opportunity to buy a large amount of PANASONIC 2250mAh 18650 cells. Now since I am selling everything I have no need for them but a bunch of you have shown interest in the Sanyo's I sold so I might buy them and pass the savings to all of you. The supplier has over 600 cells available and I could pass them to you guys for ~$50 for 10 cells or $5/ea. Only down side is I'd need to have ~100-200 spoken for before I feel comfortable buying in this quantity, otherwise the risk of not selling them is too high. This would mean gambling a few hundred dollars on my end but I trust this supplier and know of the demand for quality 18650s. Post here with the number you'd want and if we can get interest in them than I will buy them, divide them up and send them off to all of you. If not they might find another home.

I would rather sell these in lots of 10 since it is less work boxing them up and shipping but I could sell them in lesser quantities (price might change if quantity is under 10, just due to extra work and shipping supplies on my end)

Well the 2250mAh cells are probably gone now but they were raise flat tops (IMO)

They looked like this (this is a 2900mAh cell but its a great photo of the + terminal)

I was trying to get a line on Panny 3400mAh cells and I could get them for around $4/cell but shipping would make them like $10/cell. Ever since that Li-Ion plane crash, Japan and China are killing us on shipping batteries!

I haven't talked to my source since this thread was created since only two people showed interest but if interest drums up then I can check with him again.

Thanks Livinloud appreciate the info. rhd makes a good point, the 3100's I've been using are a great battery. I'll probably just stick with them for now. As the weather warms up I'll be using fewer batteries anyway.
Best of luck Livinloud. You got people pulling for you.
