C6 Momentary Button

Hello LPF,
I am going to be making a 2W 445nm C6 Hosted laser and mi would rather have (or in adition to) a momentary switch end cap. If you have a C6 host, would it be easy to modify it? or is there a replacement cap online that has a momentary switch integrated.

It's very easy to modify. Just make sure your momentary switch can handle the current you a pumping through it.

You might want to look at a forward switch if you want "momentary" function. These are more dangerous because as soon as you press on these switches it activates.... this means you don't have to hold it in all the way and can let off (momentary). As I said before though be careful if you use one.

Thanks for the advice but i don't want it to activate at the beginning of the press. I'd much rather have a safe way to activate. I am thinking about adding a simple safety switch in addition to an on/off momentary.
