Is there a lens that I can use with a 445nm Laser to make it round?

So, I am new here and on my way with a 1.9W 445nm SH-032. :) I will have pics up soon and the full specs. Why can't a lens be made to re contour a 445nm beam, to be a circle. Direct the light into a circle. If it is focusable, then It could always be made to be a circle...? Is a G1 or a 3 lens setup better?

If you want better beam specs, you can use 3-element structured Aixiz Glass Lenses.. G1 has horrible divergence and makes worse dot than the 3-element..

There are corrective optics and anamorphic prism pairs aswell if you want to go that route..

You will never get a perfectly round beam profile from
a multimode LD. The output beam profile of a multimode
LD looks like this ------ :cryyy:

The only way I'm aware to make a multimode diode's dot round is to fiber-launch it. It's more trouble than it's worth though. The rectangle is just something you've gotta learn to live with.

It probably doable, but not doable by any singular lens.

It could be done with single lens .. but it would have to be astigmatic.

^I don't think so. It might help with divergence, but I'm pretty sure it would still be rectangular or square.

'Help with divergence' is what we want right ? Question is how much. Can it be completely corrected ? I didn't see it done .. but does that mean it's theoretically impossible ? I don't think so. If the beam has only different divergence in each axis, it should be possible.
