Yes, don't buy a 2 watt laser as your first.

You should learn about the different classes, colors and power levels of lasers along with laser eye safety that applies to the different powers of each before considering such a powerful laser. If you have an accident with a laser more powerful than 1 watt you could damage your eyesight for the rest of your life.

If you're not already familiar with laser safety, please search and read this forum about people who have had accidents & people who do things to prevent them. The information here is abundant, extremely useful & free ;)

I agree, but if you really want a powerful one, I think that 1W is ok for you, just don't forget about safety (goggles)...

Oh, and how you got scammed, and where?

Thank you all for the welcome

Yes, befor of my register i read the six steps to prevent the scam and the 39 reasons for not buy in WL (LPF saved me), also i read the post of the man's eyes that burned with a laser 1w in less than a second and traumatized me, something to keep in mind to have a good safety (and i need to read moreabout the glasses, is a sensitive topic)

and sorry if I was wrong writing, still not mastered the language well
