You can get a plastic version for very very cheap at Walmart. My little cousin has one and is always runnin around blastin people! :yh:

You'd also need to be careful with that thing. First of all, the blaster from StarWars is based off of a real working MachineGun, actually the British Sterling submachine gun.
In the UK and in Canada such items are deemed to be replicas and would need special import restrictions, as they resemble real working firearms.
It sounds completely ridiculous, but I know collector who have had their "Replicas" or non functioning props in Canada seized by RCMP. They faced fines and jail time unless they took the case to court.

If you happen to live in the US, where those weapons laws happen to be commonsense laws then count yourself lucky.

If that's plastic im guessing it more or less keeps the same appearance prior to surgery? The metal version in my opinion makes the project real and weapon like. The plastic no matter the diode will render it a toy. That's if you care what others think , if not F--km. Cool F--kn Toy Bro!!

Interesting comment. I know many folks in Canada that have pistol permits and it seems many do. Although gun use is limited to home protection only. Wonder if that's the reason the crime rate in Toronto is tiny compared to south of the border , Detroit. I believe you can own a Nerf Water Blaster with no permit. They also have twice the amount of illegal guns compared to registered firearms in Toronto.:gun::gun::gun::gun:

Actually in Canada you can't get a firearm for home defense.
That's not a valid reason according to miramachi/RCMP, firearms reg centre.
Restricted weapons such as pistols or a select few rifles can only be legally discharged
at a range. These are "restricted" class.
I am a shooter back home in Canada and shoot restricted and non restricted.
