Hello,
Today I will be reviewing the 1800mw laser pointer from Survival Lasers.
The owner of the site is Gary Rosenfield. He has been an amazing contact for which I wanted to know information about the laser. I highly recommend his site for his great quality lasers.
I will be reviewing the laser pointer on a few aspects.
1. Burning Capability.
2. Shipping.
3. Host looks.
4. Quality of parts.
5. Pricing.
So, for 1:
When I compare the 1800mw Survival Laser to any other laser that I own. (Such as the Arctic and Krypton lasers from Wicked Lasers) It doesn't even compare. When this laser is 100% charged it burns like crazy. A piece of newspaper for 2 seconds under the beam..... WOOOSH!!! Flames engulf it. (A little exaggeration) A piece of dark or light wood..... Amazing for engraving. Also..... Matches and Balloons light or pop in all under 1 second.
Therefor, this laser is a master at burning.
10/10
So, for 2:
The shipping of this laser was fast and tracking was perfect. The only reason it took about 12 days to ship, was because of Christmas. Therefor, shipping was a million times better than Wicked Lasers Shipping.
9/10
So, for 3:
The host for this laser is a nice polished metal and sturdy body. it feels good and not cheap and is holding together very nicely. It doesn't have all of the fancy features as say the Arctic or Krypton, but it is still a nice host.
8.5/10
So, for 4:
This is was laser in which was not fully assembled. You had to build it. I have once before had a laser which I had to build and it was crap! The parts were falling apart, the wires were loose and it was just a mess. Though, for the survival laser, all of the parts including the diode and the copper heat sink, they were made awesomely and felt good. Therefor, all the parts were there an in tact.
10/10
So, for 5:
The pricing of this laser was pretty high. In total the whole package including shipping cost me about $560.00, Though I fell that it was totally worth the buy and I am willing to use their company again. Therefor, Pricing was pretty high buy worth it.
7/10
Conclusion:
In conclusion the 1800mw laser from Survival Lasers is a MUST BUY. Thanks to Gary Rosenfield and the rest of the makers of the Survival Lasers. Guys, get this laser!!!
Pictures will be below.
Thanks for reading my review
