<1W Krypton measured with Kenometer Pro

This is the Krypton that I recently bought from SRESAL and Cyparagon.

Definitely not a 1W laser, but I suppose I got a pretty good deal for $500.

First LPM test taken at 70 degrees...

Second test taken after a 5 minute cool down period...

Yeah, these graphs look like a mountain range.

I'm guessing stability is impossible at these high powers unless the laser has active cooling built in.

Jesus those things are unstable. Did you use an IR filter for this test?

EDIT-Obviously WL claims that the krapton is IR filtered but every test has shown otherwise so I'm just curious how much IR this one is putting out. At your average of 800mW chances are your getting a little under 100mW of IR. Either way for $500 even if it's only 700mW of 532nm thats still a good deal.

Wow thats surprising. I guess a lot of kryptons just have a lot of leakage around the filter and yours happens to be working well (sort of). Well like I said $500 for this laser is a steal that even I would jump on. $1,000 on the other hand is not.
