The reason ethian has such a time with getting orders out is he gets lots of them from around the world from people that have no experience at building electronics and want a cool laser. So if Ethian gets fifty orders on a given day then it will take him a week to fill those orders. He can work say four or five hours a day on this. If one laser takes him 30 minutes to build and another 30 for quality control that is four to six lasers a day so it will take him 10 days to finish that 50 laser order. This is one person doing all of this plus responding to customer queries and the like. So if you had a USA builder that did the same thing right shipping may be a bit faster but your still going to wait ten to fifteen days before the laser ships. Look at Jay Robs builds they are twice the price and he is in the US not knocking Jay but you get what you pay for. I really get frustrated with people that want that instant gratification! Ethian is more than fair with all of his clients. Hell he been ripped off by members of this forum more times than I can count. Here is one horror story http://laserpointerforums.com/f63/another-scam-aware-94412-2.html where he got scammed and still tried to make it right that is what he tries to do for every customer! Yea it may take some time but give the man a break

Not to be mean at all, but maybe he should hire some help if he really has that many orders. Eventually every successful business gets to the point where one man can't handle everything. Time to hire some helpers and expand:beer:

Update on my laser!

It seems the Israel post office didn't send the laser. Earlier this week, Eitan send me an email and a picture of a shipping label with a tracking code and my address on it. He says he sent a new laser to me via priority shipping, and it should arrive by Monday.

I should have my LPM reading around then too.

Is someone at the Israeli post stealing the packages or something? Maybe Eitan should just take away the cheap shipping option and have people pay for expedited shipping.

I dunno. His exact words were 'I forwarded it a few days ago via EMS express. As the Israel post really did some serious problems.'

I did go for the cheapest shipping option.

WOW that Israel post office must be full of short bus kids, who would think an industrial country of intelligent people couldn't run a post office....go figure.

I liked the one where the guy bought 2 lasers and months later got half a laser in 1 box and another empty box, that post office is really something alright.

Tracking numbers, it must not translate to Israeli, they don't seem to understand those at all, that goofy incompetent post office must be the worst in the world.

Maybe they send the things by carrier pigeon? ...... NO birds have a better sense of direction than that.


Did you say you get them in and test them for several days to make sure they keep working, then send them out?

Than I keep it for a few days and run tests each day to ensure it keeps working. Then ship it.

Are your drivers prone to failure, if not how many do you need to build before you can check it once after assembly and once before you box it for shipping?

Hey, I know, there are lots of Chinese and they work cheap, why not have them made in China?

Just buy them by the 100 lot, test them each day to make sure they stay working and ship them out as orders come in.

There you go, problem solved.

You will have to forgive my sense of humor, I'm a bit of a Joker. ;)

Im glad you got a refund, some people didn't, I saw Eitha online earlier looking at index, I would like to see his rep in the red if he is not getting banned, I will not stop until it is, you guys should help, it's a fair warning to others not to trust him, some are out hundreds of dollars.

Remember rep is not moderated so lets neg bomb that lying greedy hostile threat making thieving *(%$W#*(&W#&* into the red bars where he belongs.

It will serve as a warning to new members not to trust him.

Well, now Joker is threatening some guy and saying he'll report him to the authorities for owning lasers. The guy apparently ordered 8 MONTHS ago and is out something like $400+. I'm so thankful that paypal got my money back from this guy. Personally I think he should be banned already. He's lied, threatened people, committed various forms of fraud and doesn't seem to be contributing anything of value to this community. Just seeing the 'banned' next to his name would be pretty satisfying.
