Yes, this engine is loud. We measured SPL at 10M, only 104dB. It's one of those noises that pierces! I am sure you guys understand when I say it is a sound that gives you wood...
Lasers may take out your eye if your a fool, jet engines may send you deaf. It's all about safety. Goggles, ear muffs and fire extinguisher, check. We did not wear ear muffs in one video just to experience the moment and it was a short run (your ears can handle high SPL for short bursts, unlike your eyes!).
