I own both, I never took either apart, but johnlawson made 3 of the Core lasers into 405nm units for me and did it cheap, so it may not be a big challenge, I would think the E2 w/b easier yet to mod, but I am guessing... I may sell another E2, and n/p on another Core

I was told when I ordered these w/b about 75 mw and the rating is 50 to 100 mW... I am sure nobody will complain if a few of the units go over 100, but I think about 75mW with no IR is a good deal. ;) -Glenn

I got a note that WL shipped the order, I don't know if it's Core lasers and the E2's yet though? I asked in a email... Let's hope eh? -GH

So if the word is correct, only the Core lasers and a few goggles I ordered are to come in this one... :(

I do believe the next package w/ E2's will follow soon though... -Glenn

OK, the Core lasers came in! :) So now, I will do a bit of testing and inspect them carefully, (First look & they all look externally perfect btw), and I will be packing and sending them out really soon. For myself, I only need the hosts on most of mine, so I'll send the GB buyers the most stable and high output ones.

Testing done, It turned out these all do 4-5 mW.

Of course. I have had visions of these as cool hosts to mod unit(s) with a bright 445nm or red beam! I'll mod one or two with a silver h.s. and a 445 doing about 600 mW and 650nm w/ about 330mW, s/b awesome! -Glenn
