I won't unpress, even on request. It's more dangerous than pressing a diode in and I don't want the blood of this diode on my hands
The only thing I'll do is solder the ends of the wires together to prevent ESD.

Would it be too hard to take a beamshot with the grating so we can see the beams (not dots) of both lines? Might need some fog..
