Heh, thanks. The other day i was trying to make a USB powered BluRay "Labby" in a lightbulb box, but the module was taken from an old failled project and i ...sort of wrecked the soldering points...
Also, USB wires are such a pain to solder with! They're so thin and so easily busted!!

One day i'll do some real DIY... :D

At that price I'll even throw in the tube of thermal paste, some small chunks of aluminium cut from the stock heatsink, the back end of the Aixiz module and a few spare screws.

I noticed that you were using 0.76375mm copper wire for your driver. I've had better results using 0.7637625mm wire. This allows for better regulation and a higher current.

Actually, the wire from the battery is different from the wire to the diode. Although, that said, idk the thickness. I will try using pennies next time, they're pretty big so maybe they can feed more power into the circuit... or something... :/

I dont think i could afford the host. LOL! :)

Hmm... I'm sure we could arrange something for the unfortunates who may never get their hands on a laser so wonderful and powerful as this one.
