Well heck, I'll drop the beamshot subject Jerry.

And agreed with ReNNo here, you gotta expect what are you getting.

Displays a brilliant violet beam in the night sky making it perfect for astronomers,

Totally false

Run time on a full charge is approx. 3 - 4 hours of constant on use from the battery that is included.

From a single cr123? Impossible

Our items are tested and handled in an ANTI-STATIC, DUST FREE environment!

Sure Sure

Much of the laser related DIY parts and kits sold are handled or assembled by amateur enthusiasts in dusty basements or garages, sealing in the particles and contaminants. A single spec of dust or other matter including moisture on the raw bare diodes WILL greatly reduce their life expectancy. Especially 405nm. All of our sensitive products are prepared in a clean room at our lab, which ensures zero contaminants during critical handling procedures.

So do you -.-

-Divergence- .320 Mrad At Parallel

Impossible

-Diode Life- 5,000hrs

Is it being driven at 50mA? Then another lie...

As far as I know, yes xd

It's not only about telling how good his lab is but about how he says how bad we are when he is just one more.

Btw, not to mention, he talks about "us", making it look like if it was a company manufacturing the lasers he sells >.>

Are you kidding me?

No... I'm not kidding you... If I sell a Power Meter to customer "X"
that came to my website... it has absolutety nothing to do with you
or this Forum... even if I exaggerated some truths to customer "X"...

If on the other hand I sold LPMs here on the Forum and I was caught
in a lie... I would expect the Forum to come down on me...

If you don't like his eBay auction or believe that he is cheating
someone on eBay... It is your right and duty to report him to eBay...
not to whine about him here on LPF where he does not sell Lasers...

Perhaps putting out the word to LPF members to avoid the seller
would suffice..

It's not only about telling how good his lab is but about how he says how bad we are when he is just one more.

BTW where does it say that LPF Members are bad builders and where
in his eBay description does he talk about LPF Members as you state...

No sense in making up more rumors....

Yes I realize that I was not one of the ones who said that he was giving LPF members hell or anything just posting what he said;)

Well jerry, the fact is that he is a dishonest seller, and that's what the thread is about.

If you "exaggerate some truths" as all sellers do and you get caught, that wouldn't be a problem, if you include several lies, tell that you are a company, that you own a lab, etc etc, that makes you a lier. And a lier is a lier, outside and inside the forum, I hope you understand my point ;)

Yeah.. Albert I understand your point...:)

I'm not saying that he is being 100% truthful in his eBay claims...
I have problems swallowing some of that stuff.. but like I said before...
if it bothers you that much just report his auction to eBay...
you have that right... and eBay encourages it...
You are not even allowed to sell Lasers >5mW on eBay...

It doesn't affect me in anyway, I'm just giving my opinion ;)

The thread was about that, wasn't it?

Just because something sells for more than you would get in LPF world does NOT mean it is a scam. If someone was willing to drop $300 on it they obviously thought it was worth it. Most laser sellers here would get much more on eBay then they would here just because the competition isn't as bad and there is a much bigger market of people.

I think the BS is the bigger point.

It is Wannaburn. He is a cool guy been on this forum forever, I would not have a problem buying one of his lasers. If you can get it that cheap it is a steal.

I agree - I had a small problem with an adjustable lab driver and Lucy walked me through repairing the problem myself-- I would do biz with them again--I seriously doubt any shill bidding- look at the feedback-they included some nice 'extras' with my order too!!! and oh yeah there is a little dust in my 'Lab' and maybe J and Lucy DO have a clean room-- the work was clean and the service was great!!! Lack of recent posts on LPF does not always mean there is a problem.---HZ
