I would be interested in buying one of these. I can't decide which one though.

What is the highest mW rating you can set it to?

I really want to buy one of those. Probably the blu-ray one.
Maybe I'll buy one when I'm back home again from Gran Canaria ;D

What is the advantage to using a rkcstr driver rather than a flexdrive?

is there any advantage or what?

RKCSTR driver needs to have a higher input voltage , the flexdrive is a boost driver meaning you can use lower voltages than what the diode needs.

well i my opinion is advantage to use a Flexdrive rather than Rkcstr... you will need power supply only between 2.5 - 5.5 V instead of 7-9v with Rkcstr... for me this is essential.. there are of course some diferences in dimensions, but i think that the main difference is in voltage...
i prefer flexdrive but it is just my subjective opinion, so you sould make your own conclusion what will be better for your needs... if you will want to use 9 volt battery {rkcstr} or if you want to have more options which battery you will use = 2xAA or AAA, cr2, cr123A, 3xAA or AAA, 1x10440 3.6V, 1x14500  3.7V,  1x18650 3.7V  {flexdrive}

i hope this help

But in this case, a rkcstr seems to be better for the price if I'm just using a 9v battery or 3 3v rechargable batteries and I'm not worried about it. I'm a laser noob, if you couldnt tell.

Could you put me down for 1 regular BR. Also, would 110 be fine if I simply mount it in a hobby box, because I want to mount a switch and battery pack to it, so that makes it easier to change batteries/turn on and off? I wasn't planning on extended use, just ease of mounting it.

I'll contact you after you send the PM

rebman The red modules set to max on a Rkcstr driver full range will put out around 240mW+ but under 250mW. To go more higher you'll need a flexdrive or order a pre set one from Rkcstr himself.

pseudonyms PM replied.
