That is severely fucked up!
Kipkay should have his ass thrown in a woodchipper.
God damn man, I'm really sorry about your vision, the optometrist didn't give you any proteins or anything? That's odd, even after the fact, if you can get even the tiniest bit to heal it is worth it.
Would you be willing to write a "testimony from someone who damaged his vision" thread?
I'm sure a mod would sticky that.

I don't know if the doctor gave you anything, but raw cut potato halves on the the eyelids help welders that have gotten flashed.
The whole situation sucks. Good luck.

him with a law suit if he balks about it.

ok u people think im a troll cuz i have bad grammar on the interweb?

Here, is this better grammar Nazis? I sure hope so. Many people use the term "bai," and it doesn't automatically mean that person is a troll.

I just got back from the optometrist and an hour of traffic plus a $50 co-pay later I'm back here. He said I have a burn on my right fovea, and my retina is starting to become inflamed. (I got the laser in the right eye). He also said the damage is likely permanent, and it may get worse. Fuck.

I'll report back to you people on whether my situation improves or worsens, and I'll also tell my friends to get their eyes looked at.
Now that I could read with no straining at all... Thanks..

I would suggest that you see an eye doctor to see if you and your
friends suffered any eye damage..
If so I would suggest you get a hold of a lawyer and sue the A$$ of
KipKay and his irresponsible Laser Videos that we (the Forum community)
have already warned him about..

To those who still think I'm trolling, GTFO of my thread.

I've noticed my vision in my right eye getting worse over the past two days. Where before I could read a digital clock from 14 feet away, now I can only make out the numbers from 9 feet away.

I talked to my friends about getting their eyes looked at, and only 2 out of the four decided to take my advice. Those two noticed their vision degrading slightly, though not as severely as mine. The other two don't give a damn.

As for a lawsuit, I don't have the time nor money to bother with lawyers. Besides, I have no case since it wasn't technically the guy's fault. What, am I going to sue a pool contractor if my hypothetical child drowns in my pool?

Also, the signatures are ridiculously long and annoying on this forum.

Lets be nice I could actually read his last post. If your eyes are screwed up I am sorry that does suck I know the feeling well form cutting one of mine as a kid.

Not sure if you know that bluray light is so close to UV and our eyes do not see it well that is why it is dimmer than your green, but it should have been obvious that if it can light a cigarette it can burn eyes.

Did you get any report (on paper) from the optometrist? If so, scan it in and post it? We can then show it to Kipkay. Then fewer laser diodes will die at the hands of no driver, and fewer eyes will die at the hands of rog8811's stolen BluRay laser lighter design.

No, I didn't. I plan on going back Saturday though, so I'll ask for one then.

What are you talking about, long

I smell some sarcasm.
