Hello, 'tis a pleasure to stumble across such a treasure trove of info.
I have been following various threads and building a "novices knowledge base"
for quite some time now.
Hence I believe the time has come to finally introduce my self and get involved.
In a way I feel I should curse you all. My wallet isn’t going to appreciate my new hobby. But alas, I can't resist!
Don’t want to rabbit on (I could... really ) so I’ll try and rap up. Science has always facinated me - cant quite put my finger on it. Have a strong desire to get into my own builds. Lucky for me work covers a rather wide spectrum of skills (ironically work is about to take me away for a while... time to make some serious doe, but probably makes this introduction a little premature).
Have owned a greenie for a few weeks now (UltraFire 500mW 532nm Back-Open Handheld Green Laser Pointer WF-502C - Price angels). 1w o-like blue is inbound.
Eye-protection = Protection Goggle/Glasses for multiple wavelength Laser
Range: 200-540 and 800-2000nm from laser2go.com
Sincere thanks for the advice already "taken"
hopefully at some point I can give back.
