Hello
I finaly made a zvs driver and since i dont have a flyback i made a induction heater with it , metal objects in the work coil dont glow red yet but get to hot to touch . after changing the power supplt and zener diodes from 12 volt to 15 metal 2-4mm think glows bright red now
I re made my coil and at first i didnt think it would work but after a few trys and some help on the internet i made my cap bank bigger with 8 capacitos now the MOSFEts are IRFP250 and the resistors are 10K and 470 ohm both 3 watt the zener diodes that go across the source pin to gate pin are 15 volts @ 5 watt .
today i changed the power supply to a 32 volts power supply with a 4700uf 50 volt capacitor to smooth the dc from the bridge rectifer and then its fed into the work coil and through the 470 ohm resistors the circuit is self ossilating
My new desing will be with IGBTs (insulated gate bipoar transistor) with a seperate gate controler circuit
Hope you like it
Thanks
