Zonestealh goggles?

Hello, I've recently purchased a "250mw" (I hope) red laser pointer. It still hasn't arrived, but I want to purchase adequate protection before I get it.

I've looked through the forums, and found that the "Eagle Pair" may be the best goggles to get, but they do not ship to my country, so I'm looking for alternatives.

I recently found the laser2go/zonestealth goggles:

However, I've found mixed opinions about zonestealth. Some say they are great, some say they are underspec.

Also, I've found something weird. At ebay, there are 2 zonestealth sellers:
zonestealth
zone2stealth

They both sell the same goggles that I am looking forward to buying, but I can't stop thinking:
Is one of them a scam? Why do they have 2 accounts?



Also, I've found that they have 2 models for red lasers:

I want to be able to burn stuff without getting eye strain, but also be able to see the beam; would 4+ be enough?

Any googles that you guys would recommend for a "250mw" red laser?

Survival Laser ships to every country afaik so not sure where you got the idea you can get them. might help if you update your profile with a location so we can better address your questions. also, why would you spend ~$40 on safety glasses that are not tested and probably not even certified as claimed. once your profile is updated i can better help you out

EDIT: its probably not a scam and if you search fleabay some more, you will realize that MANY sellers have multiple accounts, some as much as 4+ accounts. not uncommon at all

I remember seeing zonestealth around a few (3-5) years ago, they seem like nice goggles. I remember a lot of people used to have them. (If you search the forum, there is stuff from 2008-09 about them). Haven't seen much lately on them though. OD 4+ should be fine for your needs.

if you wouldnt mind doing a review at some point then let me know the link. as i said before, im always looking for more "inexpensive" safety glasses options to recommend that are still quality. ATM all we have is Eagle Pair so adding another one would be nice.

if you dont want to do the review then its okay but i wont recommend based on a review 2-3 years ago. things change and i want to make sure they are still quality glasses. after all we are talking about people's eyes here so quality is KEY!

you may as well get a another pair (red color) for when you get a blue or violet laser only a matter of time and orange for green lasers and so on :eg:

Hey guys, thanks for the replies.
I've been looking some more, and found that apparently both: zonestealth and survival lasers goggles come from the same place: Laser Safety Eyewear-Beijing EagleView
So I guess they are really reliable.
