Zombie attack in Miami??

LOL, I didnt watch it, reading about it was bad enough. There was another video
floating around called 2 guys one hammer or something like that.. After
reading what it was about, there was no way I was going to watch it.

Some things are just better off unseen. The story is more than enough to make you
sick to your stomach.

Things like this leave me asking how a human could possibly do this to
another... I could see if a family member was murdered or something, and it
was revenge or something, then all bets are off, but on an innocent victim,
I just cant understand it. :undecided:
are you talking about those teenagers that just went around killing for fun i think it happened in the 90's i watches some of it it really screwed with my brain :yabbem:
If you're in a siege situation the .22 makes sense, but if you need to actually be out where a zombie can get to you... I'll take the .357 instead. I guess we need to start saving for the zombie apocalypse.

yeah the thing i hate about the .357 is its like BANG BANG BANG BANGthere goes a dollar BANG BANG BANG BANG that another buck

but the worst is ive shot a barrett 82a1 (not mine) and its worse it BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG there goes 25$

Lol... if it gets to that we're both screwed.

Actually IIRC Australia is not very densely populated... with a ton of deserts, so for you a good off road car, with extra gas, food, and water would work out better.

I guess it depends on the zombie types. If we're talking about the ones from the 80's that slowly shuffle along... with those a .22 is fine... you can take your sweet time picking them off with headshots one by one.

If we switch over to the 2012 versions though, they run like sprinters, don't notice anything but MAJOR damage, and are extra strong.

The one I was referring to happened in 2007. 21 victims including a pregnant
woman where they removed the unborn baby.. The most disgusting article I
have read to date.

The video IIRC was only one of the victims, an older man and a random
unprovoked attack..

Dnepropetrovsk maniacs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have not watched the video, nor will I ever. I also recommend to anybody
even considering looking it up, dont. Things like this eat at the psyche..

In the late 90's I watched a beheading video, never saw one before, and
figured I had to at least once. It was one of the first ones I remember going
viral, and a big mistake. It left me feeling sick for days. and even though I
have forgotten it, there was an effect that will never go away.

The kids described in that link above were not doing this for political
or religious reasons, they were just flat out F!@#ED in the head.

Have you not seen 'The Walking Dead' series? A bigger bang brings more zombies
If you're gonna go with a big .cal, at least suppress it

@IE I didn't mean to imply Hackensack was a bad town, Hackensack is just where the guy who tossed his innards at the cops lived. I used to work in and shop in Hackensack all the time. (Btw does that old black guy w/ headphones still dance at the corner of Anderson and River street? Haha)

I've been down some nasty sections of Paterson before, it wasn't pleasant but no harm came to me. I considered myself lucky. I used to go to welding school there in '06. I took the night shift while working day shift at one point and there was a gang shooting/fight just a couple hundred feet away from the front of the school. I didn't drive yet (had no car) and had to wait outside every night to be picked up. I did my best to not be seen most nights, but especially that night.

A coworker of mine got mugged just a few blocks from there as well back in '01. Two males approached him for a light and then knocked him down/out. They took his shoes and pants off and duct taped his hands together behind his back. He said they were discussing where to dump him when a police car drove by and the two men took off. Luckily he only lost his wallet and shoes that day.

It all depends on luck and how you appear visually. If you look like an easy target, you usually are. For a short non-modernly (my wardrobe is ca. 1994) dressed white guy like me, some areas are more dangerous than for an average 26yr old.

Yes, haha I would not set foot in Camden or Trenton or Jersey City unless I absolutely had to. People include Cliffton in with that as well but I never had an issue there.

If you want an inexpensive cartridge that is actually effective you'll be hard pressed to find something better than 5.45x39. You can get a 2160 rd case for $319 shipped to your door. That works out to be just under 15 cents each.

@Sigurthr - To be honest I never walked through River/Anderson... I have driven by there many times. I think the dancing man is before my time.

Camden, and Trenton are big, and definitely have crappy areas... same goes for newark. Jersey city at night... I've had the displeasure of driving through there on a regular basis for about a month... seems like there is a guy at every corner, and 2-3 on every set of stairs. Clifton I've never really had a problem with, some run down areas but for the most part ok.

@WB - It's on my list of "to download" but I haven't seen any episodes of it. I keep hearing that it's good, it's just that idk, I find post apocalyptic zombie stuff to be depressing. I'm more of a post apocalyptic alien invasion type.

@TWarne - Looks like you're all set to ride it out :gun:

The guy is lucky he didn't pull this in a stand your ground state...

What's funny is that no one got into their cars... while it's easy to break if you have something hard, it's very hard to break auto glass with your hands.

What's kind of sad is that no one reacted when he was moaning help.

I assumed the prank took place in Florida. Did I miss something?

All I see is a cracked out white guy with his neck tie around his head chasing black kids. I really hope he gets the shit kicked out of him.

I was actually surprised no one did beat the crap out of him... especially when he went after three black guys who were each at least a foot taller.

I went for a .308/7.62x51. Took most of my lunch money, so I'll have to wait on the suppressor;) Plus I figure it would be a cool fixture to mount my lasers on;)

Nice! Something like that is on my list. One of these days. :)

My current weapons:
Walther p22
Tarus 85 (.38 special snub nose)
Mossberg 500 12 gauge pump
.410 shotgun (don't know much about it)
.303 British bolt action rifle.

The last two are pretty old. The .303 is a beast to shoot. The end of the stock has a nice brass plate that wants to knock the heck out of your shoulder.

These are all the ones that I consider my own. My wife, step-son, and mother all hae their own collections that I have access to.

If you come by to visit, please be sure to knock first. :D

For the coming zombie apocalypse your best bet is the Enfield to pick them off at distance, the Mossy with super cheap birdshot made into cut shells or wax slugs when you can see the bloodshot whites of their eyes, and the pistols when you run out of 303 and 12 gauge.
