im looking for a nice project box for my bluray diode, some thing lil long and narrow, but does any one have any thing in mind besides radio shack boxes.

well i saw few people project boxes like milos bluray some thing like it i would like to get. i have a dead green laser but i have any drivers for a br with a switch on it to fit in the pen :(

Jake - and "Eject" switch/button from a dvd/cd/burner/drive will work fantastically ! They are perfect size, and there are a bajillion LDO (Low Drop Out) Voltage Regulators out there that would work perfectly, just takes some patience, and soldering :-) I've seen your work on other projects before, you CAN do this !

i just though of that, and ill use one of rkcstr drivers thanks guys for the great help :)

I can make you some stickers. I'm making some for another guy as well. printing them out on the sticker paper material and you just cut out the sticker. what info would you want on it?

EDIT: and I don't think stickers should cost anything, the only cost involved is the price of the sticker paper (like 0.0001$) and ink (another 0.000001$) and the information displayed can be priceless if it stops someone from losing an eye. i could send you them with an order or just regular stamped mail is cool as well.

Are they on that silver backed sticker paper ? Even if they aren't - your statement is 100% true, and I applaud you for stating it !
I would like to find a good (and inexpensive) source for stickers, so I could include them with diode orders :) I think that would be awesome, a little bit of added value, you know ? ;)

the stickers are on normal shipping labels, i've read that the shiny silver paper is hard to print to from normal inkjets and I'd need a laser printer (go figure) to make the laser labels.

i can make some for you as well if you'd like Senkat, all i do is find a warning label on google and photoshop it to say whatever mW and nm is applicable.

EDIT: you can print out your own labels w/ the image at this link.
