WTB:pellgunoil

Hey guys I know there are some airgun lovers here and I was wondering any of you in the us have any pellgunoil that you could sell to me for 2 or 3 bucks shipping shouldn't be much just throw it in an envelope with a stamp is all hehe...
I need it for my first co2 pellet pistol im getting (h&k usp)
I dont want to order from any websites because shipping would cost alot more then the product it self...
anyone in the US?

you can go to walmart if there is one around you and get a gun cleaning kit

Pellgunpoil is off the shelf detergent-free motor oil, it should not dissolve seals as long as you ensure it is DETERGENT FREE... However, I recommend silicone oil for CO2 airgun seals. Your local hobby shop should stock some RC silicone shock fluid; get the most viscous stuff you can...

Are you sure? will it also lubricate the parts inside? Have you treid this?
Your 100% postive this would work like crossman pelletgunoil? If so... then thanks! Ill try this.. but still open to anyone that has pellgunoil

I have done my fair share of airgunning; pellgunoil is no more than non-detergent motor oil in a fancier dispenser. If you are running this stuff in a CO2 airgun, it will work fine; DO NOT RUN IT IN A SPRINGER, the high compression will cause your gun to diesel and possibly break a spring.

Pellgunoil will work in a CO2 airgun but I recommend the use of silicone oil. Silicone doesn't smell as bad and will help slightly "swell" the seals to prevent leaks. Not to mention, pellgunoil and motor oil both tend to "dry up" faster than a good viscous silicone oil.

As for the internals of the gun itself, CO2 manufactured for airguns have some silicone oil already. It's however is a good idea to put a dab of silicone oil on the CO2 canister before inserting into the gun...

Thanks digital blue! i guess ill just check my local sportinggoods store first if they dont have the pellgunoil then ill go to my hobby store since its pretty far... so this looks like the right stuff? XTM Silicone Shock Oil #400 (cst) 2 oz - 149569

I'm not sure what's in that stuff; just stick with straight silicone and you should be fine...

I've done just that. After refilling the shocks in one of my trucks i stored the left over and occasional use it oil my rifles
