I'm looking for 3 leadlight cases shipped to Canada. The button and plastic "support cage" is a must. Whole leadlights(532nm is prefered) will also be considered...

thanks

I'm sure a lot of ppl are interested in just the cases. I know I am.

Just a suggestion, but maybe someone should start a GB concerning defect. Lead Light cases.

Too bad Andy_con doesn't sell them anymore... Anyone else have a few leadlights/ leadlight cases? I'd really hate to buy a laser just to gut...

If you are going to be in this hobby, you need to get used to that idea. We quite often destroy one piece of electronics to use a single needed component out of it.

Peace,
dave

I learned alot about lasers when i was first getting into the hobby by gutting and destroying a commercial 1mW laser pointer...It helps :D

Also dont worry if you break a diode or 2...you aren't a real DIYer if you dont break a diode or 2(or 3 or 4 or 5 lol)

That's true. However, I was referring to things like buying a brand new blu-ray writer and tearing it apart just to get a couple of 5.6mm diodes out of it, or turning a perfectly good DNA sequencer into scrap metal, to get the argon laser out of it ;)

Peace,
dave

The only "leadlight-like" lasers I've worked with requires complete destruction of the green module to disassemble. If I could get the green module in one piece and the case, I wouldn't mind so much...

I just spoke with Andy and he can no longer get them.

Anyone else know or can organize a group buy for them?

WARNING: IF YOU WANT A LEADLIGHT, DO NOT BUY THE ONE FROM JDHINES, IT IS NOT A LEADLIGHT, NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! >:(

This is what I am talking about: http://www.jdhines.com/product/0188LPGN3/0188LPGN3__Red_Laser_Pointer_Silver_Matte_Barrel.html

In fact it is some cheap normal red pointer, that is not even thick enough for a Aixiz module. I bought one a couple weeks ago and found out the hard way.

<999th post :)

Thanks for the heads up! I was looking at those not too long ago. I have the tendancy to buy more than one item at a time when trying new stuff.  Does the case split in the middle for the batt's or on the tail cap? I may still have use for them, but not with the limited space on a center split red :-/

What about these?
The button is a little different though.

This one looks interesting, I like the 12.9mm diameter. ;)

I like the look except the button area. I really like the sleak look that leadlight cases have... even though they can crack off real easy =p
