looking at NEW SHARP 5mW 785nm 9mm bright Infrared IR laser diode | eBay Cheap yet bright look, not burnign but good. Can anyone do better?

1. You can pick up LPC815, and PHR803T diodes for like $8 from Glenn Scopeguy20

That is a interesting way to describe an IR diode. "bright" .

You can also grab a 5mw green module. The beam will be bright and it is relatively safe for your first build. I think you should do some more research before buying anything to be honest.
