WTB: Aluminium Plate 85x40mm

Anyone know where I can get a bit of aluminium between 2mm and 6mm and at 85x40mm big or have any for sale with those measurments?

I need a small sheet to mount my 50mW module on so I can raise it up to the mirror height in my scanner.

your best bet would probably be a local machine shop. if they dont have it they can more than likely tell you where to get it.

I asked a company on ebay and they wanted me to send them the packaging as well as the money so they could send it to me.

You must have the equivalent of the Yellow Pages in the UK.... Just look up
a Machine Shop close to you...

I could sell you what you need but it would be a considerable amount cheaper if you could buy it local. Shipping a small piece of aluminum across the pond doesn't sound to cost efficient.
