ok i found this on ebay and wanted to know if these could be turned into lasers or not?

That's >$20 apiece for kes sleds.

Those sleds do contain violet laser diodes, but the diodes are low-powered, maxing out usually around 10mW.

You can get PHR sleds, guaranteed to work, that an do over 100mW for less money than those drives.

So not a good buy.
